It's very very smol.
It's entirely hand coded, thus the size. I'm not a coder by trade, nor am I a masochist, so it'd be reasonable to ask why I'm doing this. Update! It's not exactly hand coded anymore! My friends Rey and Evan taught me how to set up and use Eleventy, and as of August 2nd, 2025 (see blog post), this site is built using Eleventy, and supplemented with the basic HTML and CSS I remember from building rudimentary websites by hand, way back in 1995.
Why a website
It's very simple, really. I've decided to cope with my lack of control over world events by creating this one itty bitty space on the web. I've decided to hand code it, for maximum therapeutic effect, where "therapeutic" might end up with me being soothed by the endless tinkering this little space provides. Or I might end up with an entirely new cursing vocabulary (arguably also therapeutic). Heck, why not both?
