Gluten-Free Teriyaki Sauce
My favorite homemade teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 C soy sauce
- 1 C pineapple juice (water ok but not as tasty)
- 1/2 t ground ginger (or more! or use fresh grated!)
- 2-3 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 C brown sugar (packed)
- 1-2 T cornstarch (depending on how thick you like your sauce)
- 1/4 C cold water
Add everything but the last two ingredients to a pot on the stove, bring to boil.
Reduce to medium. Blend the starch and water together, add mixture to pot and stir until thickened!
